Our 68mm Log Cabin with UPVC Sliding Doors is a ready-designed garden room available in 21 sizes, from 12 ft x 8 ft up to 22 ft x 14 ft (internal), featuring wide 8 ft UPVC sliding doors in anthracite grey and a contemporary pent roof with a reduced slope and an insulated roof as standard. Manufactured at our sawmill in Wickford, Essex, from sustainable Scandinavian redwood, it arrives treated with light brown wood preservative and is delivered and assembled by our own installation team.
The full-width sliding doors flood the cabin with natural light, making it ideal as a garden office, studio, gym or entertaining space. An additional double side window can be added for £750 to bring in even more light, as fitted on our display model.

Log Cabin Base Guidance
Before purchasing your 68mm log cabin, it is important that you have prepared your base. Below you can find our PDF document on Base Preparation Guidelines for Log Cabins.
68mm Log Cabin Building Regulations
In parts of Europe, 68mm thick wall cabins are regularly used for commercial purposes and accommodation. In the UK they do not reach UK building regulations so all of our log cabins are sold as agricultural, portable and storage buildings and should not be used as residential dwellings. If located in exposed locations, customers should consider using ground anchors or bonds to secure their building. Contact one of our team to talk about your requirements and how simple the process is.
PROVIDING A CORRECT BASE FOR A LOG CABIN
Our Log Cabins need a strong base due to their heavy timber construction. The base should be solid and flat; if in doubt, please consult a structural engineer. The base size ideally should be about 6″ larger than the internal ordered size and no more that 12″ larger. N.B. All our log cabins are sold as agricultural or portable buildings and should not be used as dwellings. If located in exposed locations, customers should consider using ground anchors or bonds to secure their building.
